Anna Fritz (long time member of Portland Cello Project) will perform her original songs for cello and voice. Her music touches on themes of gender, justice, spirit, and connection to the natural world. Her performances are touchingly vulnerable, inviting her audience to be enlivened, connected, and singing! Songs from her latest album, The Gospel of Tree Bark, can be heard at annafritz.com

Poised to release his third solo album, David Waingarten is easing out of the studio and back on to the stage. His music and lyrics are inspired by the raw intimacy of Paul Simon, Elliot Smith, Blaze Foley and Gillian Welch. David's songs are about healing, living in your car, finding silence, subways, and stumbling along the path.

Anna and David have been making music together in various ways since 2000 and have a deep connection that is obvious to the listener. In addition to performing solo, they will collaborate tonight to unveil some of David's brand new songs!
